Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, located in Kansas City, Mo., provides health care to people in the city and surrounding areas without regard to their ability to pay. It provides pediatric, adult and geriatric medicines, obstetrics, gynecology and women s wellness programs, dentistry services and mental health counseling for individuals, groups and families. It offers drug and alcohol abuse treatment and counseling, gambling addiction counseling, social and foster care case management and preventive screenings and education. Additionally, it provides services, such as optometry, radiology and podiatry, and a pharmacy and lab. The clinic has on-site interpreters who assist patients with language problems in Spanish, German, French, Vietnamese, Somali, Arabic and Albanian. Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center is open Monday through Friday.
