I had a birthday party at Mary's Shelter, right next to the playground. It was perfect! The structure had power, water access, was close to restrooms and had great shade with about 10 tables....

The park is a beautiful neighborhood park, however, visitors really need to pick up after their dogs. It was really hard to walk through the grass areas because you are dodging huge piles of dog...
