Preferred Family Healthcare, also known as PFH, is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of nursing and medical care services. The organization has been in operation since 1979 and specializes in behavioral health care services. It offers substance abuse treatment and prevention services. The organization also provides family therapy and counseling services throughout San Antonio and Missouri. Preferred Family Healthcare operates a tobacco cessation program that serves employers and employees throughout northern Missouri. The organization also administers an adolescent treatment program. In addition, it provides assisted living, rehabilitative and judicial support services. Preferred Family Healthcare provides access to the Achieving Recovery Through Creativity program.
