About D.L. Design: D.L. Design, Inc has primarily been a residential architecture firm since its beginning. The firm was created in 1983, by Darryl Labruyere, an up and coming designer in The St. Louis area. Darryl had several years of experience under his belt by that time, with St. Louis companies such as Mason-Cassilly Homes. The firm quickly made a name for itself with area builders by producing smaller designs that were not only cost efficient and aesthetically pleasing, but extremely functional as well. We have also built a reputation on being able to design for a budget, no matter the size. Although we have primarily been a residential firm, we have tackled many other design challenges throughout the years, including anything from small deck additions to multi-million dollar custom residences. The St. Louis based company has been located in the heart of Kirkwood since its inception and is currently situated on Kirkwood Road, right next to popular institutions such as the Magic House and Nipher Middle School. Our work is scattered throughout the St. Louis area as well as nationwide, has been featured in several local and national publications as well as earning numerous design awards. Our process is dependant on the job at hand, but our main focus remains the same: the client. Our services are only successful when the client is happy with the outcome.
