Anthony J Hart, MD

Laura Schmidt, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with Saint Luke’s Cardiovascular Consultants and on staff at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute in Kansas City, Missouri. Clinical interests include general cardiology, congenital heart disease, heart conditions in pregnancy, peripheral vascular disease and women’s cardiovascular health. In addition to her clinical interests, Dr Schmidt is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and Co-Director of Saint Luke’s Heart Conditions in Pregnancy Program.

Board-certified OB-GYN Jason Sloan, DO, loves taking care of his patients through pregnancies and deliveries, and continuing to participate in their health care throughout their lives. Dr Sloan is a lifelong Missouri resident. He attended medical school at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr Sloan provides a full range of expertise in women's care with specific interest in obstetric care, vaginal surgery, minimally invasive surgery for pelvic pain and endometriosis, female incontinence, female infertility, menstrual irregularities, and well-woman care.

Alan Wimmer, MD, is board certified in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. He has a particular interest and expertise in atrial fibrillation and is a regional leader in the management of this condition. Dr Wimmer is the Medical Director for Arrhythmia Services for Saint Luke's Cardiovascular Consultants and Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute in Kansas City, Missouri and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. He is part of the Ben D McCallister Clinical Scholars Program and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on atrial fibrillation and other topics in electrophysiology.
