Michael H. Johnson, MD is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in condition and injuries from the collarbone to the finger tips, including shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Dr. Johnson specializes in shoulder arthroscopy for rotator cuff and labral tears as well as arthroplasty of the shoulder, including complex revisions. Within hand surgery, he specializes in carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, arthroscopic treatment of arthritis, tendon or ligament tears, and dupuytrens contracture. He treats all types of fractures of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand as well.

Conveniently located in the west metro area (located at Highway 55 and Rockford Road), the Plymouth Orthopedic Surgery Center offers patients a complete outpatient surgery solution at one location.Our 19,000+ square foot facility includes five surgery suites, where we have the capability to perform nearly all same-day orthopedic surgery procedures. Twin Cities Orthopedics also has four care suites on-site for patients in our EXCEL Surgery and Recovery program.In addition to coordinated medical care for our patients, we offer a variety of amenities for the families of our patients, including free parking and free Internet Wi-Fi.
