YMCA Day Camp Kumalya is a great place for your child to explore the outdoors, and learn valuable life and leadership skills. Utilizing the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, kids build self-esteem through archery, swimming, canoeing, environmental exploration, arts and crafts, cookouts, and much more. Our Day Camp programs, open seasonally, are structured to keep children engaged and excited to learn about nature, teamwork, and more.

The Washington County Parks Department provides various entertainment and recreational activities, including camping, swimming, picnicking, hunting and fishing. The department has archery range, boating launches and geocaching. It offers various paved, equestrian and mountain bike trails. The department s park and trail facilities include Big Marine Park Reserve, Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park, Hardwood Creek, Regional Trail and Historic Courthouse. It offers various volunteer and donation services. The department also provides summer employment opportunities. It offers snowshoeing lessons and nature programs. The department sponsors various events, such as cross-country ski festival and Bluegrass festival. It is located in Lake Elmo, Minn.
