Established in 1939 the Comet Theater is now celebrating its 75th year in business. The Comet Theater is the longest continuous running movie theater in the state of Minnesota. We are located in Cook MN, 30 miles north of Virginia on Hwy. 53. Cook, a small town of 600, borders beautiful Lake Vermilion. and is also a gateway to Voyager National Park.
