Poplar Haus

We are situated 32 miles outside of Grand Marais on the historic Gunflint Trail in Minnesota. We are just outside the crown jewels of the Minnesota Northwoods, offering lodging on the very edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. We are open year round and welcome guests with all sorts of interest, be it to hunker down for a restful stay in one of our six cabins, or to get out and explore all that our neighboring wilderness has to offer. We have six cabins on-site, three sitting on the edge of Poplar Lake, three tucked into the privacy of the woods on our property. Each cabin features a different theme and a different number of bedrooms to accommodate your party, and are equipped with full kitchenettes and grills so that you can have all the comforts of home cooking during your stay. Additionally, we have a full restaurant / bar in our lodge, with some of the finest food you will find anywhere in the Northwoods and the only liquor store on the Gunflint Trail!
