Omar M. Ghanem, M.D.

Omar M. Ghanem M.D. is a bariatric and minimally invasive surgeon with the Department of Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Ghanem earned his B Sc at American University in Beirut and his M.D. at the University of Balamand in Lebanon. He completed a residency in general surgery at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Ghanem continued his training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN, completing a fellowship in Minimally Invasive & Bariatric Surgery earning fellow teacher of the year award in 2017.
