Becketwood is an independent living cooperative community in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since opening in 1986, we have provided our Member owners in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area with distinctive living. Located on 12 beautiful acres of wooded land along the Mississippi River gorge, Becketwood is within 15 minutes of both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul and the airport. Northfield Retirement Community, established in 1969, is a nonprofit Christian-based organization that operates assisted and independent living facilities. It also offers skilled nursing, long-term care and rehabilitation treatment programs to residents. The community offers one- and two-bedroom apartments and cottages that provide a variety of services, including cleaning, dining, housekeeping, laundry, wellness and transportation, and recreational and learning activities. It offers a variety of amenities to residents, including fitness centers, fully equipped kitchens, garage parking, beauty salon, barbershop, meeting lounge and media center. The additional services offered include occupational therapy, medication management, nutrition and diet planning, spiritual activities and planned outings. Northfield Retirement Community is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is located in Northfield, Minn.
