During this time much has changed from the body shop of the fifties with hand written estimates, a tape measure and traditional body shop tools. Originally Vic's was located on Washington Avenue North in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1975 Vic picked up shop and moved the family business to Brooklyn Park. At that time the body shop occupied half of the current building. The surrounding neighborhood was residential apartments and the nearby Crystal Airport. Vic's settled into their new home in Brooklyn Park. In the 1980's Vic's started using computers in their business. Little did they know how much technology would advance and change their industry. Today technology is a large part of professional auto body repair. In 1991, the business was passed from one family to another. Mark Boesen bought the shop and has been dedicated to it's customers and the businesses success ever since Mark expanded the business into the rest of the 3000 sq. ft. building and innovative moderation to serve customers better have followed ever since. Gone are the days of the tape measure replaced by laser frame measurement. Toxic paint and coatings are now environmentally friendly water based paints.
