The bank operated under a thirty-year charter which expired almost simultaneously with the Bank Holiday of 1932. At that time the bank's name was changed to Wanda State Bank, the name under which it operates today. June 1, 2007 marked the 75th year of operating under this charter. Wanda State Bank has enjoyed steady growth through the years, to the point of reaching footings of over 85 Million at the end of 2005. We are extremely proud of the foresight that the previous management has shown in steering the bank into a very strong capital position.
