Southland Elementary School serves approximately 200 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers academic programs in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and technology education. The school additionally has art, music and physical education specialists. Southland Elementary School also offers the Title I program and special education classes for students with various disabilities. It has a parent-teacher organization that sponsors several fundraising activities. In addition, the school supports a student council. Southland Elementary School is located in Rose Creek, Minn., and is a part of Southland Public Schools, which is a district that governs elementary, middle and high schools.
