Blue Earth County Human Services, located in Mankato, Minn., offers a wide range of services to families and individuals. The department s services include adoption, adult services, children and family services, community health, development disabilities, family day care licensing, and financial assistance. It also offers foster care, mental health services, sexual violence resource center, south central children s project, and adult protection. Adult foster care homes, located throughout the area, offer rooms, boarding and supervision to adults who have developmental disabilities or mental health problems, and the elderly. Additional services are provided to children and families through the south central children's project. Blue Earth County Human Services also offers services, such as adolescent chemical dependency, child protective services, children s mental health services and family-based services.
