Emily Ellingson is an optometrist serving Northwest Eye's Golden Valley and Wayzata offices, specializing in comprehensive eye care.Dr. Ellingson graduated from State University of New York College of Optometry. As a student, she was an active member of the optometric community serving on multiple boards for student organizations, including SUNY Student Council, College Vice President Search Committee, National Liaison for the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry, and Gold Key Honor Society.She went on to complete three externships at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center, Chu Vision Institute, and Compton Eye Associates, along with an internship at University Eye Clinic at SUNY Optometry. Dr. Ellingson completed her residency in Ocular and Refractive Surgery at Chu Vision Institute. Her education and work history are representative of her commitment to provide the best vision possible for all her patients.In her spare time, Dr. Ellingson and her husband like to spend time with family and friends, try new restaurants in the Twin Cities, cook, and travel.
