Elk River Municipal Utilities Security Systems

Elk River Municipal Utilities provides electric and water service to Elk River and surrounding areas, including parts of Dayton, Big Lake, and Otsego. It is managed by the Elk River Utilities Commission. Elk River Municipal Utilities also bills the residents of Elk River monthly for services provided by the City of Elk River, which includes sewer and residential trash removal. Elk River Municipal Utilities also sells, installs, and services security systems while providing monitoring at the lowest rates in the state.Elk River Municipal Utilities ( ERMU ) has a variety of energy and water conservation programs. This includes promotion of renewable energy sources such as wind power and power from the local landfill gas. ERMU offers many programs to its customers that saves them money and conserves energy, including rebate programs and promoting good daily practices to make conservation a priority. It is active in the Energy City partnership with the City of Elk River.
