Beltrami Electric Cooperative

Beltrami Electric Cooperative, in Bemidji, Minn., is a member-owned electric distribution cooperative that provides power to the north-central Minnesota area. The cooperative was established in 1940, and now distributes electrical energy to over 16,000 members over a range of more than 3,000 square miles. It emphasizes the safe delivery of low-cost energy and service to the cooperative membership. Beltrami Electric Cooperative is also a wholesale distributor of Marathon water heaters and Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) Heaters. ETS heaters can be used to augment existing heating systems or can serve as a whole-home heating system. Room units are an excellent source of supplemental heat, by providing comfort and warmth to adjacent rooms, with isolated rooms cooling. The company s whole-home systems are available in both forced-air ducted applications or under floor hydronic applications, which are not available from electrical contractors.
