Homam Alkaied, MD, is a highly qualified oncology hematologist affiliated with Aspirus St. Luke's Regional Cancer Center and is recognized as the only certified geriatric oncologist in the Duluth area. With a robust educational background, including an extensive training history at Damascus University Medical School and North Shore Long Island Jewish-Staten Island University Hospital, he is board certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, hematology, and medical oncology. Dr. Alkaied has contributed significantly to the medical field, publishing twelve articles and serving as the institutional principal investigator on numerous clinical trials. Known for his compassionate care and expertise, he is dedicated to advancing cancer care and treatment options for his patients while balancing his personal interests in outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing.
