Bringing Kalamazoo house-roasted brewed coffee and espresso drinks, loose-leaf teas, shakes, smoothies, soups, salads, savories, and the most incredible desserts, all made by hand, in small batches with real ingredients in our own kitchen. The Portage Café opened in late January 2015 in the Portage Centre Plaza on the corner of Shaver Rd. and Centre Ave complete with a convenient drive-thru and a unique interior space with three levels of seating to choose from. When the studying and work is done, sit back and enjoy a craft cocktail, smooth glass of wine, or refreshing local beer. The Portage Café has a beautiful three-level indoor space filled with colorful tiles, white tables and wood light fixtures. There’s a cozy fireplace for the cooler months and an extended outdoor patio that’s perfect for hanging out with friends during warmer weather.
