Dr. Viren Govindaraju earned his Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Washington and his medical degree from Central Michigan University. He completed his Transitional Year Internship, Ophthalmology Residency, and Chief Residency at Oakland University William Beaumont Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at Associated Retinal Consultants. Dr. Govindaraju is a board-certified ophthalmologist, a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, and has authored several peer-reviewed articles. He has presented nationally and internationally.
