A. Becker & Associates, Inc was founded by Edward A. Becker, Sr. of Saginaw, MI. Our founder began his career in the Life-Health Insurance Industry in 1959 with The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the U. S. ( NY ). In 1961 our founder became specialized in the group insurance and employee benefits field.* Edward A. Becker, Jr., President, joined the firm in 1979 as an account service manager. Educated at Arthur Hill H. S., Saginaw MI, Delta College, Bay City, MI, and Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, MI. Mr. Becker is a Michigan Licensed Resident Agent qualified in Accident and Health, Life, Multiple Lines ( Property and Casualty ), and Variable Contracts and also a Licensed Resident Life Insurance Counselor ( LIC ). Edward A. Becker, Jr., is a past chairman and a long term current member of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan * Statewide Agents Advisory Council, a former health chairman of the Saginaw Association of Life Underwriters, a charter member of the Association of Health Insurance Agents, a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and a former charter member of the Michigan Coalition For Positive Healthcare Reform.* Rebecca E. Tobias, Vice President of Account Service, joined E. A. Becker & Associates in 1995. Educated at Carrollton H. S., Saginaw MI, and Delta College, Bay City, MI. Ms. Tobias is a Licensed Resident Agent qualified in Accident and Health, Life, and Variable Contracts.
