Tom Olinger, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed his plastic surgery residency at Michigan Medicine. Dr. Olinger earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from the University of Georgia. He has clinical interests in reconstruction following trauma or cancer removal, Mohs reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, wound care and reconstruction, skin cancer removal and reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, body contouring, breast reconstruction, reduction and lift, and implant complications. Dr. Olinger is also certified in hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Primary Care - Schoolcraft Campus is a designated Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH). PCMH patients and their families (when appropriate) establish a partnership with their practitioners to ensure they have the support needed to make decisions and participate in their own health care. As a practice, we know that preventive care, including vaccinations, is the most important part of our service to patients and their families. To best protect your children, our other patients, as well as our staff and providers from vaccine-preventable illness, we have made the decision to only accept families into our practice who plan to fully vaccinate their children according to the CDC, American Academy of Pediatrics and American Academy of Family Physicians guidelines.
