Campbell owned a Gulf Gas Station when a gentleman from the Pontiac Post Office encouraged him to try his hand at hauling mail. Campbell worked for two years on a Union Lake/Keego Harbor contract when he was offered a job with Armstrong Trucking, another mail contractor.
