Situated on the corner of Washington and Jackson–within walking distance of the shores of Lake Michigan–the historic Kirby House has functioned as a hotel, residence, restaurant and community hub since 1873. The venue is comprised of three restaurants (Kirby House, The Grill Room, K2 Pizzeria) a nightclub (Dark Room) and a variety of special event rooms. The Kirby House is a lakeshore favorite for happy hour cocktails, family pizza nights, special occasions and late-night excursions. During warm weather months, the main dining room, island bar, and second story deck are perfect spots to enjoy dinner and drinks after a day spent on the beach.

Great service. Stopped in to watch the Bears Game. Excellent rosemary fries! We added Parmesan delicious burger , cooked medium. Yum. Nice place. I recommend it

Great spot. Good food. Okay service. Plenty of outdoor seating. High tops and low tables available. We were able to bring in our bikes, since we didn't have locks. It wasn't too busy. Live music...
