Standard Electric Company has worked within the electrical industry since 1929. The company has more than 15 branch locations throughout central and northern Michigan. Standard Electric employs more than 200 people. In 1999, the company headquarters in Saginaw, Mich., moved to a 72,000-square-foot facility with state-of-the-art offices and a warehouse. The company s industrial automation division provides sales and support in the areas of industrial computers, programmable logic controllers, machine interface and adjustable frequency drives. The network communication division offers a wide range of communications products, including fiber optics, category cables and connectivity products. Standard Electric Company is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
