Spring Valley Center for Exploration

Spring Valley Center for Exploration has three content themes that are the focus of the curriculum: Networking With Nature, Collaborating With Creativity, and Differentiating With Diversity. The school offers learning activities that help students integrate each theme into the core subject areas.

Parchment High School is a college-preparatory school that provides academic classes to students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers educational classes in vocal and instrumental music, agriculture, social studies, science, physical education, math, language arts and business. Parchment High School has a guidance department that counsels students regarding educational needs and personal problems, as well as provides information on career planning. It organizes a range of athletic activities, such as cross-country, football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, swimming, track and field, wrestling, baseball, softball and tennis. In addition, the school has a cafeteria that offers a variety of lunch items. Parchment High School is a part of the Parchment School District and is located in Parchment, Mich.

Central Elementary is a learning center that provides educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade five. It conducts classes in reading, writing, math, physical education, music, computer application and art. The school provides Title 1 and special education programs for gifted and talented students. It operates a parent-teacher organization that encourages parental involvement in children s education. The school offers speech therapy services for students with special needs. It additionally provides transportation and health care services. The school is a part of the Parchment School District, which governs several elementary, as well as a middle and high school. Central Elementary is located in Parchment, Mich.
