In 1974, business owner, Pete Hankins was approached by his children's swim coach to provide recognition awards and ribbons to the swimmers. A small ribbon press was purchased and placed in the manufacturing department of his existing business. As word spread of the original and only ribbon manufacturer in the state of Michigan, so did business....
