231-533-8538 Ruthie's is a special destination in the town of Bellaire. Must visit! We always go for ice cream creations, but the food is good too. The ceiling and walls are decorated with vintage kitchen stuff. It is open It is open seasonally, but in season, the people are lined up out the door. It is small, with seating for perhaps 30 people or so. It is just down the street from the Grand Victorian Inn, where we always stay.

Really great ice cream. Not so great experience with the staff. Dirty looks behind the backs of customers is not my idea of a happy whimsical ice cream experience. Please do better.

This is Ruthies, they have soft serve and hard ice cream. If you like Broasted Chicken, place your order early. My favorite is the chocolate and vanilla twist.
