Nicole is a dedicated family nurse practitioner who is passionate about holistic patient care. She chose her career in family medicine to embrace the opportunity to care for patients across all age groups and to support families in achieving overall wellness. Guided by her belief in the vital role of family and lifestyle in health, Nicole focuses on building meaningful connections with her patients and their loved ones. A significant influence in her life has been her grandmother, whose motto, Thank you for being you, along with Nicole’s Catholic faith, shaped her worldview of appreciating individual talents and contributions.

When Dr DeHaan was six years old, her grandfather passed away suddenly from a heart attack. That was when she decided to become a physician. She chose family medicine because she enjoys caring for families in every stage of life. Dr DeHaan’s Christian faith has been the greatest influence in her life. She believes that having compassion and reaching people where they are in their lives, health conditions, social circumstances, is possible because God has called her to this career. Dr DeHaan has a special interest in osteopathic manipulative treatment, women’s health and prenatal care. When she isn’t at work she is involved in her church and hospital related events.
