Paramenter s Northville Cider Mill is the second oldest continuously operating business in the city of Northville, Mich. The cider mill was established in 1873 and is a Michigan Historic Business, its procedures and practices are constantly evaluated and updated to assure its customers get quality cider, donuts, caramel apples. The mill s other products include applies, apple butter, pumpkin butter, honey and maple syrup. Two of the mill s specialties that are made daily and include caramel apples and apple pies. Its caramel apples come with or without peanuts and are also available as "apple chips," which are apple slices in a bowl with warm caramel poured over them. The majority of the Paramenter s products are Michigan-made, including maple syrup from Roger City, Brownwood jam from East Port, apple cider vinegar from Detroit, and honey from southeastern Michigan.
