OAR, also known as Ottagan Addictions Recovery, is a nonprofit organization that provides services to individuals and their families with recovery from alcoholism, drug addiction and related problems. The agency offers a variety of treatment and educational services throughout western Michigan. It provides several outpatient services that include individual and group therapies, family counseling, community educational presentation and driver's license assessment. Ottagan Addictions Recovery also provides full-residential substance abuse treatment services for addicted women. The agency is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. In addition, it organizes seminars on various topics, including relapse and triggers, codependency and role of spirituality in recovery. OAR has been operational since 1971 and is located in Holland, Mich.
