Mary B. Avendt-Reeber, MD - Beacon Richland Family Medicine

Barbara chose to pursue a career in medicine and attributes her father's influence and support for helping to make it happen. She has always relished the opportunity to learn, no matter the topic. With a goal to excel in her studies, her love of medicine and a desire to work with patients she attained a degree as a physician assistant in urology. In her free time, Barbara enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, skiing, boating, swimming and enjoying time with her pets. I have loved medicine for years and appreciate the opportunity to assist my patients with their healthcare needs.

UM Health-Sparrow Nephrology provides diagnosis and treatment for patients with medical diseases involving the kidneys. This includes patients with fluid electrolyte imbalances of unknown etiology, acute renal failure, and end stage renal disease who require dialysis. Through our Nephrology practices, UM Health-Sparrow cares for patients throughout the region.

Dr. Hanberg is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Loyola University Medical Center.
