Dr Stephens’ interest in pediatric hematology and oncology was sparked during her residency rotation, where she met patients and families who changed her life forever. After that experience, Dr Stephens wanted to continue to learn and grow as a physician so she could help make a difference in her pediatric patients’ lives. She credits her family as her biggest influence and support in life. They have always encouraged her to pursue her goals and dreams. In her free time, Dr Stephens enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with her family and dogs. I chose pediatrics because it grants me the privilege of working with children every day and experiencing their joy, creativity and resilience.
