I am a clinical social worker and have been in private practice since 1995. Before that, I worked in a psychiatric hospital and child welfare and with developmentally disabled children. In my practice, I see school-age children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I have taken Level 1 and 2 of the Gottman training and have been using this method successfully with a variety of couples. I have also taken the Gottman course in working with couples where there are affairs or trauma. In addition to my work with couples, I use a variety of treatment methods to help clients recognize and enhance their coping skills. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and eating disorders. I also have a particular interest in assisting parents in developing their skills in this challenging area.

The Pine Rest Portage Clinic provides outpatient behavioral and mental health services, including therapy, counseling, psychological assessment and testing, intensive outpatient treatment for substance use disorders, as well as access to psychiatry and medication services.
