Lawrence Garner founded Garner's Jewelry & Exchange in 1984, going into business with his daughter Cindy and sons Jon and Chris. He opened the first store in Taylor, in The Garner Building that his father Farce Garner built in the late 1950's. The Garner Building has remained in the Garner Family for more than 50 years.
