Since she was young, Lisa always had a passion for medicine and working with pediatric patients, which she explored more during her volunteer and clinical work before becoming a physician assistant. She is inspired by the resilience of kids and how even at their young age they teach her something new every day. She enjoys the variety and hands-on work that the general surgical field brings to her work day. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys traveling and being outdoors in all seasons – you might catch her practicing yoga, on the ski slopes or hiking trails, viewing sunsets or on the water. Prior to attending physician assistant school, Danielle had the opportunity to job shadow at a sports medicine clinic. She remembers telling the physician she was following that he had the best job in the world— which is something she still believes today. After spending time observing his practice, Danielle was confident that orthopedics was the field she wanted to go into. Danielle's family, faith and mentors have had a great influence throughout her life. Because of them, Danielle has learned to push herself toward excellence and to never give up on her aspirations.
