Jon Ann MacKenzie, P.T. and Owner Specialization: Jon Ann utilizes a variety of manual therapy techniques when working with her patients. These include muscle energy, Cranio-sacral, myofascial release, and joint mobilization. Her philosophy is to restore normal joint mechanics and soft tissue tension, then apply strengthening and flexibility exercises. By improving joint mechanics functional movement patterns such as how people walk, raise thei r arms, or swing a golf club will more efficient and less painful. She has realized a lot of success in improving patients gait following hip and knee replacements by restoring normal leg length and pelvic alignment, allowing patients to walk without a limp. My strengthening programs focus on functional movement patterns and core stabilization.
