Delta Township Fire Department-Station 2

Established in 1953, the Delta Township Fire Department works to provide fire suppression, rescue and emergency medical services. It houses an administrative office, fire prevention bureau, training facility and an emergency operations center. The department s fleet includes aerial platforms, engines, ambulances, tankers, cascade and brush trucks and boats. The Delta Township Fire Department also maintains hazardous material, light and heavy rescue units. It is comprised of more than 45 administrative staff, full-time paramedics and part-time firefighters. The department offers weather awareness, fire safety and emergency medical services information. The Delta Township Fire Department supports the child passenger safety seat inspection program. It is located in Lansing, Mich.
