Living Lab is a collaborative organization that works alongside the Downtown Detroit Partnership, Project for Public Spaces, and the DTE Planning team to transform and revitalize neighborhoods in Detroit. Through inclusive community engagement, Living Lab listens to the needs and desires of stakeholders, residents, businesses, and employees to create spaces that foster physical and social connections, such as the reimagined Circle Park. Circle Park, previously an exclusive location for DTE employees, has been redesigned to serve as a meeting space, outdoor retreat, and a vital connection point between the neighborhood, Downtown Detroit, and the new Grand River Public Space.
