Catina Painter, ACNP

Tatiana fell in love with critical care during her experience in intensive care as a student and has never wanted to do anything else! She is passionate about helping patients and their families through one of the most intense times of their lives while fine-tuning their care. Before the age of eleven, Tatiana and her family lived in three different countries—she speaks English, German and Russian. She believes moving so often, learning different languages, and often being an outsider, helped to form her ability to empathize and taught her the joy of working with patients from different cultures and backgrounds.

With over 22 years of experience, Christine believes that becoming a family nurse practitioner has allowed her to empower patients to be their healthiest selves. Christine credits her parents as the biggest influence in her life. “My mom taught me to think of others first, work hard, and accept and love all people. My dad taught me to have gratitude for every day.” In her free time, Christine volunteers with the Girl Scouts and enjoys hiking, running and spending time with her family. I try to truly listen to patients and treat others as I would want my own family treated. I believe in individualized care that considers the whole person.

Katharine has always wanted to work in healthcare, and realized early on that hands-on, direct patient care was her passion. Becoming a certified nurse practitioner allowed her to expand her skill set to include diagnosis, treatment, and consultations. For Katharine, the best part of coming to work each day is connecting with her colleagues and having the opportunity to meet and speak with patients. She feels very fortunate to have had excellent mentors throughout her professional and personal life that pushed her to excel and strive for excellence in life. In her free time, Katharine enjoys traveling and outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, and anything to do with water; she also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity.
