Dr Cox feels honored to work with his patients and team up with them in their healthcare. He knows a cancer diagnosis is very emotional and wants to keep communication open with his patients. Dr Cox lost his mother at a young age to leukemia, sparking his passion for caring for those with cancer. He enjoys the opportunity to work with others who share his compassion for their patients. Dr Cox has special interest in GI tumors, breast cancer and lung cancer. To expand access to cancer care across southwest Michigan, Bronson has partnered with other hospitals in our region. As part of this collaboration, Dr Cox is currently seeing patients only in Coldwater and Marshall.

Dr Randy Mudge became interested in a career in medicine due to his strong desire to serve and his fascination with science. His college professors and family have influenced him in his career and personal life. Dr Mudge enjoys coming to work each day knowing he has the chance to help his patients and work with a great staff. He has a special interest in cancer care. Dr Mudge enjoys participating in philanthropies, boating and working on antique cars in his spare time. I believe in patient centered care. It is important to take time to communicate effectively to allow for shared decision making. Dr Mudge is a great man! He makes you feel comfortable and explains every option you have, he gives you the pros and cons.

Sue Smith has always had a passion for people. She was six years old when she decided she was going to become a nurse someday. After spending twelve years as a registered nurse, Sue went back to school to pursue her degree and become a nurse practitioner. She felt this would allow her to form deeper, more meaningful connections with her patients. Now she loves coming to work every day where she has the opportunity to touch someone’s life – whether that be a patient, their loved ones, or her coworkers. Sue has a special interest in breast cancer. She also actively volunteers at the Bronson Battle Creek Cancer Care sponsored activities, like the annual Survivors’ Celebration.
