Dr Ybema chose her career and specialty in neurology due to a college course called neurophysiological psychology, which delved into the physiologic basis of various psychiatric disorders. This sparked her interest in neurochemistry and neuroanatomy, ultimately shaping her professional path. Her religious faith serves as a significant influence in her life, providing a framework for her approach to work and relationships. This guiding principle contributes to her commitment to patient care. Excitement for Dr Ybema comes from the opportunity to meet new people and tackle new challenges, solving problems in a methodical manner. She finds fulfillment in the dynamic nature of her work.

Dr Engle chose a career in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics because she enjoys caring for patients at all stages of their lives. She likes being able to work in different settings and with a variety of patients. Building strong relationships with her patients and being involved in their care is important to her. Dr Engle's parents have been her biggest influences. They taught her the importance of hard work, following her passions, and making a difference in people's lives. These values guide her every day, and she loves knowing that she can have a positive impact on someone’s life. In her free time, Dr Engle loves being outdoors.

“My dad used to say that doing the right thing even when no one is watching was imperative because God would know. That level of integrity has guided me throughout my career.” Debora chose to pursue a career in nursing because she has always been fascinated by the complexity of the human body and the pure joy of caring for others. Outside of work, Debora enjoys spending time with family, reading, kayaking, running and pursuing lifelong learning. “I strive to provide the same level of care that I would want for my family. Kind, compassionate, respectful care that is patient-centered and focuses on patient advocacy.”
