701 W Cross St
Ypsilanti, MI 48197

Located in Ypsilanti, MI, Basil Babe stands out as a fast-casual Thai eatery led by Haluthai, an Eastern Michigan University alum, and her mother, Vasanna, the visionary behind Ann Arbor's Siam Square. Initially a humble pop-up venture, it soon blossomed into a full-fledged dining establishment, thanks to the unwavering backing of the local community.

From its roots as a temporary setup, Basil Babe has evolved into a beloved brick-and-mortar spot, becoming a pride of Ypsilanti. The dynamic duo's journey from a small-scale concept to a thriving restaurant serves as a testament to their dedication to serving authentic Thai flavors in a welcoming atmosphere, inviting diners to savor a taste of Thailand right in the heart of Michigan.
