Alan Stephens, MD

Dr Stephens chose to enter a career in medicine because it allowed him the opportunity to help others in a very direct way. The plastic surgery field has allowed him many opportunities for personal growth due to its variety and problem solving characteristics. He also enjoys the fact that his career in healthcare provides him with a chance to meet and work with an array of interesting people. He credits his parents for a lifetime of commitment and influence. Their love, encouragement and consistent example of faith have been an important driver in his life. In his free time, Stephens volunteers in church, leading children’s bible study for kids from kindergarten to high school age. He also enjoys fishing and bicycling.
