The Weeks Footbridge, also known as the John W. Weeks Memorial Bridge, is a historic pedestrian bridge spanning the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Connecting Harvard University's main campus in Cambridge with the Harvard Business School and athletic facilities in Allston, the bridge was designed by McKim, Mead White Architects and opened in 1927.
In 2015, a $3 million renovation project was completed to make the Weeks Bridge compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, adding ramps and accessibility-compliant railings. Offering a popular vantage point for events like the Head of the Charles Regatta, the bridge's scenic location and historic significance make it a beloved landmark in the Boston area.
