Berkshire County Arc is a nonprofit human services organization that offers a range of community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. Its programs are offered throughout Berkshire and Hampden counties in Massachusetts. The organization offers four day programs, a range of residential support services, including 30 group homes, employment services, respite services, and citizen and self advocacy programs. Its day habilitation programs are designed to increase an individual s independence and ability to assume social roles through developmental skills training and clinical support. These programs serve individuals with a wide range of abilities, talents and interests who require intensive support and services in the areas of communication, relationship building, self direction, health maintenance, safety and community participation through volunteerism.
