The Peter Tufts House, formerly known as the Cradock House, is a historic Colonial American house located in Medford, Massachusetts. Built between 1677 and 1678, it is believed to be one of the oldest surviving houses in the U.S. with a gambrel roof. With its distinctive brick walls, end chimneys, and unique architectural features, the Peter Tufts House has been a significant landmark in American history. King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) Birthplace Monument was installed in 2003 as a gift to commemorate His Majesty King's birthplace on His Majesty's 76th birthday. This contribution by KTBF to the City of Cambridge is in the spirit of Thai-American cultural exchange.
