When I opened my practice in 2010, I had been practicing yoga and meditation for 27 years, teaching yoga for for 18 years and running yoga studios for 10 years. I had been studying Buddhist psychology and philosophy for 22 years. I chose to expand my skills to include hypnosis because hypnosis it is practical-it goes directly to the client's most important needs and goals. I decided to go for training at the Hypnotherapy Academy in Santa Fe (now in Albuquerque) because it was the longest and most in-depth professional certification course I could find.
