MGI - recognized as a leader in security systems within New England for over 30 years. Established in 1964, Monahan & Associates was originally organized as a security company providing investigative and security guard services. In 1971, M&A closed its security guard division and changed its focus to electronics, becoming a full service installing company, offering CCTV, intrusion and fire alarm systems, and operating a 24 hour UL/FM approved central monitoring station ? one of only two independently owned companies in Massachusetts.In 1986 the UL/FM approved central monitoring station was sold and we continued to work in the security industry installing access control and CCTV systems.
